1396 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [April 1,
bill entitled an Act to enable Wm. H. Perot, an alien, to
hold real estate, and herewith return the same.

Also returned the following bill,
A bill entitled an Act to enable Wm. H. Perot, an alien,
to hold, inherit and transmit real estate in the State of Mary-
land,
Mr. Chapman moved a reconsideration of the vote by
which the bill entitled an Act to enable Wm. H. Perot, an
alien, to hold, inherit and transmit real estate in the State
of Maryland was rejected, for -want of a Constitutional
majority.
The question recurring upon sustaining the motion,
Mr. Chaisty moved to lay the motion on the table,
The question then recurring upon sustaining the motion,
Mr. Kirk demanded the yeas and. nays,
The demand being sustained, the yeas and nays were
