Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the destruc-
tion of hawks and owls, and protect the class of small birds
known as insectivorous birds, in Prince George's county,
Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Goldsborough submitted the following amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend, title by striking out the word "county," and in"
serting "Talbot and Montgomery counties."
Amend section 1, by striking out "county," and inserting
"Talbot and Montgomery counties."
Add at end of section 1, "Provided, however, that the
robin may be shot from and after the first day of September,
until the first day of May, and the bird known as the Eng-
lish mocking bird, shall not, under any circumstances, be
shot, entrapped or caged, under the penalty of ten dollars.'*
