1872 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [April 1,
porate an Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb of the State of
Maryland, and also to an Act passed at January Session,
1868, chapter 409, entitled an Act to amend and add addi-
tional sections to the Act of 1867, chapter 247; also an Act,
passed January Session, 1870, chapter 422, entitled an Act
supplementary to the Act passed at January Session, 1867,
chapter 247, entitled an Act to establish an Asylum for the
Deaf and Dumb of the State of Maryland, and its supple-
ments.
Said bill being upon a third reading,
Mr. Vickers submitted the following amend meat:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 19, line 7, manuscript hill, strike out the words
"one hundred," and insert the words "twenty-five."
Which was rejected.
The bill was then read a third time, and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows:
