The bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of St. Mary's, Charles and Prince George's counties,
to subscribe to the capital stock of the Washington City and.
Point Lookout Railroad Company,
Said bill being upon a, second reading,
Mr. Scott submitted the follow ing amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out the words "Prince George's County," from the
enacting clause.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend-
ment,
