So two-thirds of all the members elected having voted in the affirmative, The bill was then placed upon a third reading. Pending which, Mr. L. A. J. Lamotte, submitted the following amend- ments: AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. Section 1, line 3, strike out the word "two," and insert "one." In line 4, strike out the word "four," and insert the word "five." Which were adopted. The hill, as amended, was then read. a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows :
