The bill entitled an Act to approve and confirm an ordinance of the City of Baltimore, approved on the 24th day of
June 1871, entitled an ordinance to condemn and doge McElderry street, between Register and Wolfe streets, and Ann
street, between Jefferson and Monument streets, and all
streets, lanes or alleys comprised within the whole grounds,
bounded on the north by Monument street, on the south by
Jefferson street, on the east by Wolfe street, and on the west
by Register street,
Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Travers moved that the farther consideration thereof
Ie postponed, and that; the bill be referred to the Baltimore
City delegation,
The question recurring upon sustaining the motion,
Mr. Clark, of Baltimore City, demanded the yeas and nay,
