Said bill was then sent to the Senate. The bill entitled an Act authorizing the Elkton Railroad Company, incorporated under the provisions of the General Corporation Law, being chapter 476, of the Laws of 1870, to charge a greater rate for tolls and transportation of persons and freight than is allowed therein, and to form a union with the Middletown and Elkton Railroad Company, incorporated by the general Railroad Company incorporated by the Gen- eral Assembly of the State of Delaware, by chapter 143, of the Laws of 1871, so that the capital stock of the said Com- panies respectively shall form a common stock, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: |
