The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 411-passed January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to add ,
additional sections to Article LXIX. of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title "Officers," regulating and prescribing the
number and compensation of officers of the Senate and House
'of Delegates, and repealing all Acts inconsistent therewith.
Said bill being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. Cooper,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
-bill recommitted to a Select Committee, consisting of Messrs.
'Cooper, Clark, of Baltimore City and Chaisty.
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller to
settle the claims of Lawrence D. Dietz and William A.
Tolly,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay David Grogg,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
