Which was read, and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills:
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of chapter 274,
entitled An Act to repeal section 2 of chapter 31 of the Act
of Assembly of 1865, in relation to the publication of Laws,
and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to amend
and re-enact the same.
Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays.''
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Committee-
on the Judiciary.
A bill, entitled act Act to further amend the Charter of the
Baltimore Fell's Point Hebrew Friendship Congregation, in
the City of Baltimore.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.
A hill, entitled an Act to change the name of "The Chil-
dren's Aid Society of Baltimore to " The Henry Watson
Children's Aid Society of Baltimore," and otherwise to
amend the Constitution of said Society.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.
A bill, entitled an Act supplemental to the Act of 1870,
chapter 58, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Frederick County to build a new Almshouse for
Frederick County, to borrow money on the credit of the
County for that purpose, to issue bonds for the payment of
the same, and to levy taxes on the assessable property of said
County to redeem said bonds and to pay the interest thereon.
Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."
Which, was read a first time, and referred to the Select
Committee on that subject.
A bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Queen City Sav-ings' Bank of Cumberland, Maryland.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporation*.
A bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Agricultural and
Mechanical Society of Allegany County and West Virginia
