The next order of the day being, The bill entitled an Act making further appropriations for the support of the Government for the year ending the first day of January, 1874, Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
The question then recurring upon the? title of the bill, the -amendment, as passed by the Committee on Ways and Means, to strike out all after the word "year," and substitute there- for the following words: "to end December 31st, 1878," Was adopted, and The title, as amended, was then adopted,.
