Which was read a first time.
Mr. Chapman moved a re-consideration of the vote by
which the bill entitled an Act to to repeal sections 33 and
34, of chapter 364, of Acts passed January Session 1870,
title "Oysters," and to re-enact the following in lieu thereof,
changing the style of the Oyster Police Board, and" making
Commissioner of the Land Office one of said Board, which
had been rejected for want of a Constitutional majority.
The question recurring upon concurring in the motion,
Mr. Dougherty moved to lay the motion on the table.
The question recurring upon sustaining the motion,.
Mr. Dougherty demanded the yeas and. nays,
The demand being sustained,
The yeas and nays were called and appeared as follows
