173 of Article IV. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts," and to enact the
same as amended,
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend title by inserting between the word "courts" and the-
word "and," in the third line, the following words, to wit :
"as the said sub-section 1 was adopted by the Act of 1870.
chapter 177, entitled an Act to change the jurisdiction of the
Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, and re-apportion and en-
large the jurisdiction of the Baltimore City Court, the Su-
perior Court of Baltimore City, and the Court of Common
Pleas, as provided by section 39, of Article IV. of the Con-
stitution."
Amend enacting clause, by inserting between the word
"courts" and the word "be," in the 3d line, the following
words:
"As the said sub-section one; -was, adopted by the? Act of
1818, chapter 177,"
