The following message was received from his Excellency,
the Governor, per hands of Richard C. Hollyday, Esq., Sec-
retary of State:

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, March 16th, 1870.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates of Maryland:

I herewith send you as additional list and titles of the
Acts of the General Assembly which have been approved and
signed by me. and deposited with the Clerk of the Court of
Appeals.

ODEN BOWIE.

A bill entilled an Act to repeal section 282, of Article 93,
of the Supplement to the Code of Public General Laws, en-
titled, "Testamentary Law," and re-enact the same with
amendments.

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of an
additional Justice of the Peace for election district No. 4, in
Harford county.

A bill entitled an Act to add new sections to Article 51, of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled, " Justices of the
Peace," as amended by the Act of 1868, chapter 443.

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money for
the purchase of a lot of ground in which to inter the remains
of the Confederate soldiers, who died at Point Lookout, in
St. Mary's county, whilst prisoners of war, during the late
civil strife, and enclose and ornament the same.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Real Estate and
Savings Bank of Baltimore.

A bill entitled an Act authorizing the.County Commis-
sioners of Wicomico county to appoint three trustees for the
Almshouse of said county.

A bill entitled an Act to add a new section to the Code of
Public Local Laws, for Cecil county, under the title of Schools
for the purpose of apportioning the Academic Fund of said
county, among the several Academies thereof.

A bill entitled an Act supplemental to and to amend an
Act entitled an Act to incorporate " The Maryland Agricul-
tural and Mechanical Association," passed March 19th, 1867.

A bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Baltimore to subscribe to the amount of one million of
dollars to the capital stock of the Valley Railroad Company,
incorporated by the State of Virginia.

A bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at the Jan-
