Mr. Martin submitted the following amendment:

Strikeout the word "and," after the word "Weems,"
and insert after the word "Needham," the words: of Balti-
more City, and Wm. B. Hill, of Prince George's county.

The amendment was adopted, and

The title as amended,

Was then adopted.

Said bill was then sent to the Senate.

On motion of Mf. Morse, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the Senate bill,
"entitled an Act to incorporate the National Co-Operative
Business Agency Company.

Said bill being upon a second reading.
The bill was then read a second time, and
On motion of Mr. Morse,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the

bill made the special order of the day for Monday next, 7th
instant.

On motion of Mr. Brattan, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to regulate the drawing and selection of jurors in
Somerset county.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be

engrossed for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Harrington, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to authorize the scooping for oysters in certain
waters of Dorchester county.

Said bill being upon a third reading,

The bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:
