So the amendment was rejected. Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel, moved that the House do Decided in the negative. The bill, as amended, was then read a second time, and On motion of Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel, At 3 1/4 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned until to-morrow TUESDAY, March 1, 1870. The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev. Present at the call of the roll the following members: Messrs. Loker, Martin, Kilbourn, Baldwin, of Anne Arun- Mr. Kilbourn in the Chair. |
