Which were read.
On motion of Mr. Biddle,
The House proceeded to the consideration of the order of
the day,
Being the bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 295, Act
of Assembly, 1868, entitled an Act to amend Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Guano" by adding
thereto the following section relating to the inspection of all
fertilizers other than Guano, and to substitute the following
in lieu thereof,
Said bill being upon a second reading.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the amend-
ments as entered on folios 259 and 260 of the Journal.
The amendments were then severally adopted, and the bill
as amended, read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
On motion Mr. Ritter,
The rules were suspended, and
The House proceeded to the consideration of the Senate
bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners
of Frederick county, to build a new Almshouse for Frederick
county, to borrow money on the credit of the county for that
purpose, to issue bonds for the payment of the same, and to
levy taxes on the assessable property of said county, to re-
deem said bonds, and to pay the interest thereon.
Said bill being upon a third reading,
The bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
