Liability.

Washington County, or before any Justice of the
Peace of said county, in cases within the jurisdic-
tion of Justices of the Peace, and process may be
served upon any officer or employee of said com-
pany who may be found within said county.

In force.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 443.
|

AN ACT to incorporate the Worthington Valley,
Hampstead and Baughman Valley Railroad Com-
pany.
|
|
Corporation.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a corporation be and is hereby
created and chartered by the name of the "Wor-
thington Valley, Hampstead and Baughman Val-
ley Railroad Company," for the purpose of con-
structing, maintaining and working a railroad
from some point on the Western Maryland Rail-
road, at or near Owings Mills, in Baltimore county,
to Hampstead, in Carroll county, and from thence
through Baughman's Valley to Emmittsburgh,
Frederick county.

Capital stock.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock
of said corporation shall be not less than one hun-
dred and fifty thousand dollars, nor more than
seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars, divided
into shares of fifty dollars each.

ton, George Bixler, H. W. Shriver, Benjamin J.

Henry Millender, William H. Maus, Philip H. L.
Myers, Benjamin Worthington, Col. Wilson Nicolis,
Jacob Frock, Andrew Shoffer, Abraham S. Cooper,
Benjamin Bixler, John T. Worthington, Edward
Worthington; David Baughman, Henry Zimmer-
man and Charles T. Harvey, are hereby appointed
