as may be disbursed out of the executive contin-
gent fund upon the order of the Governor, or such
further part thereof as may be for or on account of
salaries fixed by the Constitution and laws of this
State; and provided, that no unexpended balance
of any appropriation shall be applied to make up
deficiencies in any other appropriation.
|
Take effect.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on the first day of January, eighteen
hundred and seventy-one.

CHAPTER 410.
|
|
AN ACT to repeal Sections one and six of Chapter
three hundred and twenty-nine, of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
January Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
seven, entitled "An Act to provide for the selec-
tion, drawing and summoning of jurors in the
several counties, and prescribing their qualifica-
tions," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1. And be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Sections one and six of Chap-
ter three hundred and twenty-nine, of the Acts of
Assembly of Maryland, passed at January Session,
eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, entitled "An
Act to provide for the selection, drawing and sum-
moning jurors in the several counties, and pre-
scribing their qualifications," be and the same are
hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That it shall be the duty of the Clerk
of the County Commissioners for each of the coun-
ties of this State to make out and file with the
Clerks of the Circuit Courts for said counties, not
less than twenty days before the beginning of the
first regular term of said courts next ensuing the
passage of this Act, and not less than twenty days
