CHAPTER 401.
|
|
AN ACT entitled a supplement to an Act entitled
"An Act to incorporate the Maryland Publish-
ing Association," passed at January Session,
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight.
|
Change of title
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the name of the Maryland
Democratic Association, be and is hereby changed
to the Maryland Publishing Company, and said
association shall he hereafter kviown by the latter
name, and shall under the said name have all the
rights, privileges and property of the said Mary-
land Democratic Association, and be subject to all
the debts and engagements of said Maryland Demo-
cratic Association.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 402.
|

AN ACT to repeal Section eighty-five of Article
eleven of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frede-
rick County, sub-title "Frederick," and to re-
enact the same with amendments.
|
Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section eighty-five of Article
eleven of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frede-
rick county, sub-title "Frederick," be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments, as follows:
85. The citizens of each ward qualified as pre-
scribed in the eighty-third Section of this Article,
