he convicted of any felony in any Court of this
State, the Judge of said Court, in his discretion,
and with reference to the character of the House
of Reformation and Instruction asaplace of sojourn,
and not of punishment, may order said minors so
convicted to he removed to and confined in the
said House of Reformation and Instruction; pro-
vided, that in in all ca.ses no transfer of any such

swer received from him, that there is room in the
House of Reformation and Instruction for the recep-

AN ACT to incorporate the St. Paul's Savings
Bank of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That M. Bannon, D. Donnelly, A.

 

V. Milholland, N. R. Gill, E. G. Kilbourn, James
A. Bruce, Owen Cecil, Isaac Hartman, John F.
Hunter, William J. Kelly, A. P. Gorman, Saml.
S. Linthicum, Thomas Cottingham, John Hubner,
Rezin Hammond and Nathan Pumphrey, and their
successors, shall be and they are hereby constituted
a body corporate and politic by the name of the

Saint Paul's Savings Bank of Baltimore, and by
that name shall have perpetual succession, and be
capable in law to hold and dispose of property, to
sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, answer
and defend and be answered and defended, in all
courts of law and equity, and in any other place
whatever, and to receive and make all deeds, trans-
