quarter degrees, west three hundred and twenty-
two perches to a planted stone marked number
one; then, second, north forty and one-eighth de-
grees, east four hundred and sixty -five perches to
a planted stone marked number two; then, third,
south twenty-six and one-eighth degrees, east two
hundred and three-fourths perches to a planted
stone marked number three; then, fourth, south
twenty-one and a quarter degrees, east four hun-
dred and twelve perches to the forty-fourth mile-
stone on the north side of the Baltimore and Fred-
erick Turnpike Road ; then, fifth, south eighty
degrees, west three hundred and fifty-five and
sixty-seven one-hundredths perches to the stone
marked B. C. T. L., the place of beginning; and
the said Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council
of Frederick shall have full power and authority
to assess, levy and collect, within said extended
limits, any and all taxes whatsoever which they
were authorized to assess, levy and collect within
the taxable limits as existing before the passage
of this Act.

177. All offences against the laws and ordinances
of the said Mayor, Aldermen and Common Coun-
cil of Frederick, shall be tried and determined by
the Mayor or an Alderman of said city, and all
arrests for breaches of the laws and ordinances of
said corporation shall be made by the constables
appointed by the said Mayor, Aldermen and Com-
mon Council of Frederick, and by no other con-
stables whatsoever, and any and all provisions in
any Section of Article eleven of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Frederick County, relating to
the powers and duties of the Mayor, Aldermen and
Common Council of Frederick, conferring power
and authority upon Justices of the Peace and
County Constables to act in the premises, are
hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
