CHAPTER 292.

AN ACT to repeal the second and third sections
of the Act passed at the January session, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-eight, Chapter three
hundred and two, entitled "An Act to provide
for refunding money paid into the Treasury."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the second and third sections
of the Act passed at the January session, eighteen
hundred and sixty-eight, Chapter three hundred
and two, entitled "An Act to provide for refund-
ing money paid into the Treasury," be and the
same are hereby repealed.

Repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 293.

AN ACT to ratify the action of the Mayor and
City Council of the City of Cumberland, author-
izing Jones' alley to be closed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the action of the Mayor and
City Council of the City of Cumberland, Mary-
land, on the seventh day of March, eighteen hun-
dred and seventy, authorizing the closing of Jones'
alley, be and the same is hereby ratified, confirmed
and made valid.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
