the following metes and hounds, to wit: Beginning
at William Brady's blacksmith shop in the village
of Forestville, and running thence with the public
road leading from said village to Alexandria Ferry
to its intersection with the public road leading
from said Ferry to Upper Marlborough, at the
lower gate of the estate of the late Charles F. Cal-
vert, thence with the said Alexandria Ferry and
Upper Marlborough road to its intersection with
the Washington and Upper Marlborough road at
Centreville, thence with said Washington and
Upper Marlborough road to the place of beginning,
containing about one and a half square miles, and
now embraced within the limits of Upper Marl-
borough, (third) election district, shall hereafter
be a part and parcel of Spalding's, (sixth) election
district, and all people residing within said limits

immunities of the citizens of the said sixth elec-
tion district, and shall be registered as voters at
the poll to be held in said sixth election district.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts incon-
sistent with this Act be and are hereby repealed.

AN ACT to re-enact and continue in force an Act
passed at December Session, eighteen hundred
and forty-seven, Chapter three hundred and six,
entitled "An Act to incorporate the Withers
Mining Company," and to make certain amend-
ments thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That all the provisions of the
Act entitled "An Act to incorporate the Withers
Mining Company," passed at December Session,
eighteen hundred and forty-seven, Chapter three
hundred and six, except so much thereof as is
