credit, hank hills and other promises to pay gold
and silver coins, and may do all other acts cus-
tomary in a general shipping, commercial, bank-
ing, warehousing and forwarding business; and
the said Board of Directors shall have power to
make and enforce all such by-laws, rules and reg-
ulations, and amend or annul the same at plea-
sure, and exercise all other rights, privileges and
immunities as maybe required for the proper man-

pany, or who shall, with intent to defraud, make
or issue, or cause to be made or issued any account,
order, warrant, receipt, certificate, bill of lading,
or any other paper of writing, print, stamp, or
who shall take or cause to be taken, make away
with or in any manner conceal, with intent to
misappropriate or defraud the said Company or
any person of any money, goods, wares and mer-
chandise, or any other property, shall, upon con-
viction thereof, be punished in such manner as
may be provided by the laws of this State, for
