in the same thus valued, as fully as if it had been
legally conveyed to said Company by the owner or
owners of the same; and upon said valuation
being tendered, as aforesaid, said Company may
enter upon and take full possession of said land,
or other property so condemned, for all corporate
purposes; and if said valuation is not received when
tendered, it may at any time thereafter be received,
without cost from said Company, by the said owner
or owners, or his, her or their representatives; and
the said sheriff shall keep any jury which lie shall
empanel under the provisions of this section, to-

case it shall so happen that the jury cannot agree,
after being kept together as aforesaid, the sheriff
may, in his discretion, discharge said jury, and
without any further warrant from a Justice of the

aforesaid, and the same proceeding shall be had in
all respects as hereinbefore provided; and in case
of a second or other disagreement of the jury the
same proceedings shall be had until an inquisition

the Eastern Shore Railroad, incorporated by the
Acts of the General Assembly, passed at Decem-
ber Session, eighteen hundred and thirty-five,

and assigned and surrendered to the State of
Maryland, be and the same are hereby granted to,
and by this Act (so far as the same may lawfully
be done) transferred to and declared to be the
property of, and to belong and appertain to the
Company incorporated by this Act, when and as
soon as the same shall be organized, as hereinbe-
fore provided.
