and they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof.

55. The County Commissioners for Montgomery
County shall, at their first meeting in the month

appointment, and continue to reside therein during

the receipts and expenditures of the funds of the
Corporation.

such duties as they shall direct, and exercise a
general police supervision over said town, and see
that none of the provisions of this Charter or the
ordinances of said town are violated.
