improvements of Jones' Falls, for the construction
of which provision is made by the ordinance of the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, entitled "An
Ordinance to provide for the improvement of Jones'
Falls, within the limits of the city of Baltimore,
and to open avenues and construct sewers on the hor-
ders thereof," the said bonds to be issued in sums of

not less than one hundred dollars each, redeemable
in thirty years, and bearing interest of six per
centum per annum, payable quarterly, transferable
as other city bonds, as provided in Sections one
and two of An Ordinance of the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, entitled "An Ordinance to
authorize the issuing of the bonds of the City of Bal-
timore for the purpose of providing means for the
improvement of Jones' Falls," approved January

Proviso.

thirty-first, eighteen hundred and seventy; Pro-
vided, that said bonds shall not be issued unless
the said last mentioned ordinance shall be ap-
proved by the votes of a majority of the legal voters
of the said city, cast at the time and places pro-
vided for in the fourth section of the said last men-
tioned ordinance.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 114.

AN ACT to incorporate Towsontown in Balti-
more County.
|
Corporate
Limits.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the corporate limits of the
Town of Towsontown, in Baltimore County, shall
consist of an area of one half mile in each direc-
tion from the intersection of the Baltimore and
York Turnpike Road, and the Dulaney's Valley
and Towsontown Turnpike Road, making an area
of one mile square, having the intersection of the
said two Turnpike Roads as a centre, and that the
citizens residing within the said corporate limits
