tively receive by the opening of such street, avenue,
alley or square, or part thereof, and to cause a plat
of such street, avenue or square to he made by the

laid off, together with a report of their proceedings
to be returned by them to the County Commis-
sioners within twenty days after assessing the
same, to be ratified and confirmed by said Commis-

such county and city papers as they may agree
