Annapolis, April 4,1870.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I nominate the following named gentlemen Auctioneers for
Baltimore city:

William P. Spencer, William H. Walsh, George W.
Davis, John B. Ray, William A. Disney.

On motion by Mr. Snyder,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments, agreeably to the nominations.

I nominate Everitt G. Hughes 2d district, additional Jus-
tice of the Peace for Harford county.

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment, agreeably to the nomination.

On motion by Mr. Compton,

The injunction of secrecy was removed from the proceed-
ings of the Senate in Executive session.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative busi-
ness.
