STATE OF MARYLAND,
EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, April 1,1870.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I nominate Henry Chamberlaine as an additional Justice
of the Peace for 7th district of Cecil county, as provided for
by an Act of Assembly passed at the present session.

And John G. Anderson Justice of the Peace for 8th dis-
trict of said county, vice John G. Bennett, resigned.

On motion by Mr. Miller,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments, agreeably to the nominations.
