On motion by Mr. Earle,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative
business.

SATURDAY, Feb'y 26,1870.

The following communications which had been received
from his Excellency, Governor Bowie, by the hands of B. C.
Hollyday, Esq., Secretary of State, were read:
