Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Frederick, St. Mary's and Talbot counties.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1866, chap. 146,
entitled an Act to repeal the charter incorporating the town
of Denton, in Caroline county, and to enact the following in
lien thereof.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Caroline, Harford and Wicomico counties,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and'
Hall's Spring Railroad Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 6 of an Act passed,
at the January session 1867, chap. 298) sub-title an Act to
incorporate the Pennsylvania Line Railroad Company, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners of Talbot, Caroline and Wicomico
counties to control and regulate the public roads and bridges
in said counties.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Talbot, Wicomico and Caroline counties.

A bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed at
the December session 1824, entitled an Act to confirm an
Act of the General Assembly of Virginia, entitled an Act
incorporating the Chesapeake and' Ohio Canal Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 329, of 1868, enti-
tled public roads in Talbot and Caroline counties.

Which was read the first time and. referred, to the Senators
from Talbot, Caroline and Somerset counties.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the People's Land,
Loan and Deposit Company of Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act directing the Comptroller of the
Treasury to cause to bepaid to Brice Shipley a sum of money
erroneously paid into the Treasury by the said Brice Ship-
ley.
