A bill entitled, an Act to amend certain portions of the Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Cecil and Harford Boom
Company, passed January session, 1867, chapter 195, and to
require said Company to remove certain and all obstructions
placed by them in the Susquehanna river.

"Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

The House bill entitled an Act to relieve the sureties on
the official bond of J. B. Price Sheriff of Cecil county,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows':
AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Parker,
Biggs, Sellman,
Clarke, Snyder,
Earle, Timmons,
Fields, Welch,
Henkle, Wilson—13.
Miller,
NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The House bill entitled an Act for the payment of an an-
nual pension to Wm. Brown, of Annapolis, who lost his
arm whilst in the employ of the State,

Was read the third time, and lost for want of a constitu-
tional majority by yeas and nays, as follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Parker,
Clarke, Sellman,
Earle, Snyder,
Henkle, Timmons,
Miller, Wilson—10.

NEGATIVE.

Messrs. Fields, Welch—3.

Hyland,

Mr. Wilson moved a reconsideration of the vote by which
said bill was lost.

Mr. Fields called for the yeas and nays.
On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.
