The regular order of business was suspended, in order to
give the House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Agri-

cultural and Mechanical Society of Allegany county, West
Virginia and Pennsylvania to issue coupon bonds and secure
the payment thereof, the third reading.

Said bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas

and nays, as follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Clarke, Sellman,
Earle, Snyder,
Fields, Spates,
Henry, Stephenson,
Jump, Timmons,
Maddox, Welch,
Parker, Wilson—14.

NEGATIVE.—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing bills:

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of sixty-nine
thousand two hundred and ninety-six dollars and twenty-
eight cents, to pay the various mechanics and others the
amounts due them for work and labor done and materials
furnished in the erection of the Governor's Mansion at Annapolis.

 
Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance.

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act passed March 30,
1868, chap. 406, entitled an Act to repeal chap. 184, of the
Act of 1867, entitled an Act to repeal Article 71 of the Code

of Public General Laws, entitled "Oysters," and re-enact
the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Queen Anne's, Anne Arundel, St. Mary's, Cecil and
Kent counties.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 6, 7 and 8, of Ar-
ticle 98, of the Public General Laws, entitled "Wild Fowl,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and. referred, to the Senators
from Queen Anne's, Anne Arundel, St. Mary's, Kent and

Cecil counties.

A bill entitled an Act to regulate the manufacture and
sale of oils for illuminating purposes
