Mr. Fields moved that the Senate adjourn.
Mr. Clarity called for the yeas and nays.
On the question being put,
It was determined in. the negative.

Mr. Stephenson moved as suspension of the rules in order
to give the Senate Joint Resolutions in relation to the claim
of the State against the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Com-
pany the third reading this day.

The yeas and nays were called and appeared, as follows:
