On motion by Mr. Malone,

The Senate was called and the Sergeant-at-Arms directed.
to inform absent Senators that their attendance was required

in the Senate Chamber.

On motion by Mr. Malone,

Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
After debate,
On motion by Mr. Malone,

The further consideration of said message was postponed
until Tuesday next, at 8 o'clock, P. M., and made the order
of the day.

On motion by Mr. Wilson,

Twenty-five copies of said message were ordered to be
printed.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to add another section to
the Act entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller to adjust
and settle the accounts due bycollectors, Sheriffs, Clerks,
Registers and other receivers of public moneys, in cases where
the indebtedness accrued prior to the year 1866,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at
the January session, 1867, chapter 131, entitled an Act to
incorporate the Resolute Fire Insurance Company of Balti-
more,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 94; 196,
and 197, of chapter 35, of Article 4, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, relating to docks, and re-enact the same with
amendments,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to increase the number of
incorporators in an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the
Westernport and Potomac Railroad Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a mm of
money for transcribing, indexing, re-binding and preserving
Records, and for preparing & digest of the law and rules of
the Land Office,
