Mr. Henkle, from the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments to whom was referred House bill entitled an Act to
authorize the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line Railroad to
build a railroad from Frederick to Washington city, report-
ed it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.
On motion by Mr. Henkle,

Five hundred copies of the Governor's Message in relation
to the Metropolitan Railroad Company,

Were ordered to be printed.

Mr. Biggs, from the Select Committee to whom was refer-
red House bill entitled an Act to repeal so much of section
12, of chapter 267, of the Act passed March, 1860, entitled
an Act to incorporate a Company to open in part, and im-
prove the road from Frederick county to Spout Springs, &c.,
reported it with the following amendment :

Amend by striking out the 3d section.
Which was read and adopted.
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance to whom the
leave was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to refund
M. T. O'Neal, the sum of fifty dollars erroneously paid into
the Treasury of the State.

Which was read the first time.

The House bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title "Baltimore County" by adding thereto
the following additional sections in relation to Swine running
at large.
Being on the third reading.
Mr. Clarke submitted the following amendments:

Strike out all after the word "after," section 2, line 2,
and insert July 31, 1870.

Strike out in section 196, line 4, the word "twelve," and
insert in lieu thereof the word fifteen.
