The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Saint
James and Ellicott City Turnpike Company,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

Hyland, Stephenson,

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to fund the floating debt of the
city to an amount not exceeding eight hundred thousand dol-
lars,

Was read the third, time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

Commissioners of Carroll county to indemnify Wm. Shaw
for the destruction of his property in the City of Westmin-
