Which was read the first time.

Also, from the same Committee to whom was referred
House bill entitled a supplement to an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Broadway and Locust Point Steam Ferry
Company of Maryland, and to grant on certain conditions
the right to use the wharf known as the county wharf, ap-
proved March 28, 1868, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the more strict compli-
ance of the State of Maryland, with the provisions of an Act
of Congress, approved July 2,1862, donating lands for Agri-
cultural and Mechanic Arts purposes,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The House bill entitled an Act to regulate fees of the
Sheriff of Worcester county, so far as relates to board of pri-
soners,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Biggs, Miller,
Carroll, Parker,
Clarke, Sellman,
Henkle, Snyder,
Henry, Spates,
Hyland, Stephenson,
Kimmel, Timmons—14.

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The House bill entitled an Act to amend chapter 389, of
1864, entitled an Act supplemental to the Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike
Company, &c.,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.

Carroll, Parker,
Clarke, Sellman,
Henkle, Snyder,
Henry, Spates,
Hyland, Stephenson,
Kimmel, Timmons—14.
