the Act entitled an Act to provide for the making of the seve-
ral turnpike roads, and for the extension of the charters of
the several banks therein mentioned, passed at December ses-
sion, 1827, chapter 42.

Mr. Shipley, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably a bill entitled an Act supplement, to an Act to
authorize and require the County Commissioners of Balti-
more county, to convey a lot of ground to the Board of
School Commissioners of Baltimore county, to be iised for a
Public School House site, passed 1868, chapter 393.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Hoblitzell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 174, of Ar-
ticle 4, of the Public Local Laws, relating to the City of Bal-
timore, and re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Crawford, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably a bill, entitled an Act to repeal the first section of
the Act of 1868, chapter 50, relating to the County Commis-
sioners of Wicomico county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Baldwin, of Harford, Chairman of a Select Commit-
tee, reported favorably, a bill entitled an Act for the better
protection of Partridges, Pheasants and Woodcock in Har-
ford county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably the Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1,
of Article 22, of the Public Local Laws relating to the
Almshouse in Worcester county, and to enact a substitute
therefor.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Standish, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably the bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of
Frostburg, in Allegany county.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 939, Article 4,
of the Public Local Laws, relating to Baltimore city, sub-
title, "Water," as enacted by chapter 467, of the Acts of
Assembly, passed at the January Session, 1868, and to re-
enact the said section so as to read as follows,
