Said bill was then Sent to the House of Delegates.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Spa City
Hotel Company of Bladensburg,

Was considered and postponed.

The Senate then resumed the consideration of the un-
finished business of yesterday.

The question being upon the adoption of the unfavorable
report of the Committee on Finance on the House Joint
Resolutions in reference to the claim of the State against the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company.

After debate, the further consideration of said Report was
postponed, until to-morrow at 12 o'clock.

Mr. Fields moved the Senate take a recess until 8 o'clock
P. M.

Mr. Fields withdrew the motion.
On motion by Mr. Earle, it was

Ordered, That the Comptroller of the Treasury report to
the Senate the amount of cash and available assets that has
stood to the credit of the State on 'the first day of March, in
each and every year since 1862.
