240 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS Feb. 17,

titled an Act to incorporate a Company to make a Turnpike
Road from Williamsport, in Washington county, to the
Pennsylvania Line in the direction of Greencastle,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Malone,
Biggs, Miller,
Browne, Parker,
Carroll, Sellman,
Clarke, Snyder,
Denson, Spates,
Grove, Welch,
Maddox, Wilson—16.

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned, to the House of Delegates.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Antietam Rail-
road Company in Washington county,

Being upon its second reading,

The amendments submitted on the 3d inst., were adopted,
and

The bill read the second time.

Mr. Grove moved that said bill be read a third time this
day.

The yeas and nays were called as required by section 27,
of Article 3, of the Constitution and appeared, as follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Biggs, Malone,
Browne, Parker,
Carroll, Sellman,
Clarke, Snyder,
Denson, Spates,

the affirmative.
