The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of the
January session, 1867, chapter 268, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the Baltimore Warehouse Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The House Joint Resolutions authorizing the Librarian to
extend the use of the Library to the Judges of the Circuit
Court for Anne Arundel county, during the sessions of said
Court at Annapolis,

Were read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Jump,
Biggs, Kimmel,
Clarke, Malone,
Earle, Parker,
Fields, Sellman,
Henkle, Snyder,
Henry; Spates,
Hyland, Timmons—16.

NEGATIVE—None.
On motion by Mr. Clarke, and by unanimous consent,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to provide for increasing the revenues of this State
by taxing all commissions issued by the Governor where any
emoluments accrue to the office, and for taxing all acts of in-
corporating Railroads, Canals, Turnpikes, Gas Companies,
Insurance Companies, the same tax to apply to all supple-
ments and amendments to original charters granted.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 10 of Ar-
ticle 97, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to State
Wharfinger and wharves, and to re-enact the same with
amendments,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Biggs, Parker,
Browne, Sellman,
Earle, Snyder,
Fields, Spates,
Henry, Stephenson,
Hyland, Timmons,
Kimmel, Welch—14.

NEGATIVE—None.
