read a second time.

Mr. McLane, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably a bill, entitled an-Act to repeal, and re-
enact with .amendments, section 45, Article 81, of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled, "Revenues and Taxes," and
to add two sections thereto.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Merrick, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably, the Senate bill, entitled an Act
to appropriate a sum of money to pay the electors of Presi-
dent and Vice President of the United States, in and for the
State of Maryland, their officers and attendants.

Which was read a second time.
Also favorably,

A bill entitled an Act for the relief of the heirs and devisees
of George Bailey, late of Baltimore city, deceased.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciarv,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to regulate and make uniform the
fees of Justices of the Peace.

Which was read a first time.
Also favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize, empower and require
William Stewart, Administrator and Trustee, to sell the real
estate of Isaac Stewart, late of Somerset county, deceased,
under a decree of the Orphan's Court for Somerset county,
to pay over the balance in his hands as Administrator and
Trustee aforesaid, after satisfying all just debts of the said
Isaac Stewart, including costs of administration and Trustee's
commissions, to Anne Stewart.

Which was read a first time.
Also favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to continue in force an Act, entitled
an Act to regulate and make uniform the fees of Constables,
passed January session, 1865, chapter 67.
