Baltimore county and Anne Arundel county, to report a bill
to require the corporate authorities of Baltimore city to take
charge of, and assume control over, all the public highways
and bridges within the corporate limits of said city, and to
maintain and keep them in good condition and repair with-
out charge to the public for passing on, or over the same.

On motion by Mr. Clarke, and by unanimous consent,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Baltimore County, to complete the records in
his office, and to provide new indices to the land records
therein, and to provide the means for paying therefor.

The House bill entitled an Act to provide for the continua-
tion of the general index of the judgments in Queen Anne's
county,
