So two-thirds of all the Senators elected having voted in
the affirmative,

The said bill was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to whom was.
referred the House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Reg-
ister of Wills of Howard county to examine, perfect and
index certain records in his office, and to authorize and pro-
vide for compensation for services so rendered, reported it
without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Frederick county to subscribe to the Stock
of Turnpike Companies,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
