AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In section 1, line 6, strike out the word "Secretary" and
insert in lieu thereof the word: Clerk,
In section 1 strike out all after the word "collected," in
line 8, to the word "he," and insert in lieu thereof: for
county purposes, according to the order and direction of the
County Commissioners of said country.
In section 1, line 11, strike out the words "his office," and
insert in lieu thereof the words: the office of said Commis-
sioners.
In section 1, line 12, strike out all after the word "bond,"
down to the word "he," in line 15, and insert in lieu thereof
the words; to the County Commissioiners of Dorchester county
in a penalty of at least double the amount to be received and
disbursed by him, with sureties to ibe approved by the said
Commissioners, and conditioned for the faithful discharge of
the duties of his office as Treasurer, and the faithful disburse-
ment of all moneys received by him, according to the order
and direction of the County Commissioners of Dorchester
county; and the said bond, when executed and approved as
aforesaid, shall be filed and recorded in the office of the Oierk
of the Circuit Court for Dorchester county, and a copy thereof,
duly certified, shall be evidence in any Court of Law or Equity.
