The bill entitled an Act to amend chapter 241 of Acts of
Assembly, January session 1867, by inserting an additional
section to be substituted for section 8, and make the present
section 8 to number sectipn 9,

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out all after the word entitled in the first line, and
insert the following :
An Act to repeal section seven of the Act entitled " An Act
to appropriate the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars, or so
much thereof as may be necessary to the re-building of the
Hay Scales, and the buildings connected with the same owned
by the State, and situated in the eastern section of the City of
Baltimore, near the intersection of O'Donnell street with.the
western line of Baltimore county, to repair or re-supply the
scales, and adapt them to the weighing of live stock, as well
as hay and straw, to provide such yards for live stock as may
be necessary, passed at January session 1867, chapter 241,
and to re-enact said seventh section with amendments.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section seven of the Act entitled an Act to appro-
priate the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars, or so much
