The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bills :

The bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of sixty-
nine thousand two hundred and ninety-six dollars and
twenty-eight cents, to pay the various mechanics and others
the amounts due them for work and labor done and materials
furnished 'in the erection of the Governor's Mansion at An-
napolis, and the enclosure and improvement of the grounds
surrounding the same,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also,

The bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed at
January session, 1968, chapter 363, restricting the powers of
the County Commissioners of Howard county in issuing the
bonds of the county in aid of turnpike companies,

The bill entitled an Act to confirm and approve an Act
passed at January session, 1868, chapter 353, entitled an Act
to authorize the Commissioners of Howard county to sub-
scribe to the capital stock of turnpike roads in said county,

The bill entitled an Act to authorize John H. Stokes, of
Harford county, surviving Trustee, to sell and convey a par-
cel of land to the Trustees of Deer Creak Monthly Meeting of
Friends, for the use of their members at Broad Creek Meeting,
