Which was read, assented to, and sent 10 the Senate.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section one of Article
XXII. of the Public Local Laws relating to the Almshouse
in Worcester county, and to enact a substitute therefor.

Which was read a first time, and referred t» Messrs. Fui-
nell, Dennis, and Lankford.

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the electors of President and Vice-President of the Unitod
States, in and for the State of Maryland, their officers and at-
tendants.

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.

The bill entitled an Act to add a new section to Article 4,
of the Code of Public Local Laws entitled Baltimore City,
said section to be entitled Publication of Legal Notices,

Was read a second time.

The question then recurring upon engrossing the bill.

Mr. Merrick moved to strike out the enacting clause of
the bill.

On motion of Mr. Marbury,
The bill was laid on the table.

The bill entitled an Act to add additional sectiouss to
Article 98 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
relating to Wild Fowl,

Being upon a second reading.
On motion of Mr. Meekins,

Was recommitted to the Select Committee reporting the-
same.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 25, Article 13
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Howard county,"
sub title, "Justices of the Peace and Constables," and to re-
enact the same with amendments,

Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :
